When you have finished reviewing a client's results, you should mark the response as approved to signify that you have discussed the results with the client, and that you are both happy to proceed. Approving a report locks it for editing, and generates the 'final draft' of the PDFs; to make any changes, you will need to issue a new response to the client.
Only a client's named adviser is able to mark their report as approved. Therefore, if you are having trouble approving a client's report, you should check the following:
- Are you the named adviser? If not, you may need to edit the client's details, then re-assign the client to yourself.
- Are you an assistant user? If so, you will not be able to approve the client's response: only advisers are able to do this.
- Are you an admin user? If so, you will not be able to approve the client's response: only advisers are able to do this.
